make this life special, babes <3
A quick Pride rundown of the good things coming:
Happy Pride my darlings!!!!!
What a time to be alive.
Everything is blooming, blushing, sultry, juicy, feral, horny, ferocious. Proud, definitely.
A proper check-in letter to you is in the works - much is afoot - but I want to let you know right quick about three wonderful things coming up in the next 8 days. Because, truly: never a dull moment.
TOMORROW, 6/13/26:
Pap Smears for Queers is back for the 5th year running at Dyke Day LA!
Every year, this epic group of birthworkers and sex educators join forces to bring queer community healthcare to our fave LA Pride event.
Every year is wild, gorgeous, ridiculous fun.
Every year, a bunch of people who had excellent reasons to avoid gyno care indefinitely have found out that they had something happening in their body that could have become a Problem for them or for their partners.
We are there, as the tenderhearted queers and allies we are, to provide the kind of healthcare that everybody deserves: attuned, respectful, collaborative, educational, pain-free, and relational. Queer & trans-competent healthcare saves lives.
If you’re going to Dyke Day (I hope you are coming bc it is the literal fucking beeeeessssstttt) please come find us!!! We will be lounging and being cute in the shade and are there catch all your sex & body questions and concerns. Bring us your TMI.
AND: If you have any extra dollars right now and have a mind to support queer community healthcare during Pride month, we would be endlessly grateful for all & any support. No amount is too small. All the labor is lovingly donated by us, but the lab fees still cost $$$. And it’s all tax deductible!
You can send any amount to support this work here.
THANK YOU in advance, on behalf of all the people who will benefit!
NEXT WEEK, June 15-19:
Midlife Magic:
Rebellion and Erotic Reinvention
I’m part of a lineup of incredible speakers at Midlife Magic: Rebellion and Erotic Reinvention, a free online gathering hosted by my beloved friend and badass big-sis sex ed comrade A’magine.
As we approach the arc of perimenopause and menopause, we are subjected to some absolute garbage cultural conditioning about “midlife decline” - in direct continuity from the messaging we get as younger people about objectified feminine value - and given very few sanctioned options for how to navigate this time in our lives, which is framed for us as a series of insurmountable and inevitable health challenges, erotic devaluation, loss of power and ongoing irrelevance.
A’magine, bless her gigantic heart, and those of us around her who have our eyes trained on the horizon of liberation for all beings, are taking all of that bullshit and drop-kicking it into the next dimension.
Because, in reality, midlife is a time of freedom, of reinvention, of erotic refinement, of expanding power and sharpening discernment, and of energy released as we divest from the opinions of others. This is a time in our lives when we have a true opportunity to see what we’re capable of together.
This is an online gathering for those of us, all over the world, who are ready to have these conversations and get real about what world we’re building together.
The lineup of speakers and teachers is wonderful, and the gathering is free, with additional paid tiers for those who want in on the extras.
My talk is titled What Can We Build Instead? which quotes the work of the amazing abolitionist organizer and educator Mariame Kaba, and is about how each of us gets to figure out our role in the revolution. I will also be co-leading one of the additional offerings with A’magine, a workshop focused on translating our truest dreams into action.
And last, but hardly least, on 6/20/2026:
TBTS Online, Babyyyyyyyy
TAKE BACK THE SPECULUM
Gay Wrath Edition
June 20, 2026
10-1 PST / 1-4 EST / 6-9 GMT
ONLINE
Let’s talk about bodily autonomy, bbs.
Let’s talk about all the ways we have been taught from the beginning to surrender our authority, our knowing, our opinions, our comfort, and, far too often, our health under pressure.
Let’s talk about what that looks like under political systems in which what we choose for ourselves may not be available, depending who’s calling the shots on what is legal, what is possible, what is affordable.
And then let’s flip all that shit on its head.
Take Back the Speculum is a crash course in body literacy and sex education for people who never received the transformative, agency-focused, pleasure-centered, gender-affirming, body-honoring initiation into powerful adult embodiment that their sex ed should have been.
We continue the powerful tradition of self-help at the center of the feminist healthcare and reproductive justice movements, and we stand on the shoulders of our elders and ancestors in this work.
Join me for a deep dive into everything you need to know to reclaim your innate powers, connect with your body, take the reins of your destiny, & make sure your doctor knows that they’re working for you.
You’re invited. Because it’s never too late.
This class is open to & appropriate for all human beings with internal sexual anatomy. This is an explicitly queer and trans-inclusive space.
All info and registration can be found here.
Guess what?
I love you.
Thank you for being on earth and doing your biggest, ballsiest, most beautiful best. You’re a treasure like no other.
Come find me somewhere!!!
XOXOXOX
